  • UK’s National Heritage Open Days with events taking place in Walton-on-Thames.

At Walton Wharf there will be stalls, games for children, music performances, boat rides and the incredibly popular Dog show. There is something for everyone, with a puppet show, miniature ponies, big band and jazz music, The Jolly Brit River Boat and The Thames Venturer.
Riverhouse Barn shows the progress of the Mount Felix Tapestry and gives attendees a chance to take part. There is also the screening of new film ‘Memories of Walton II’.
St Mary’s Parish Church will be open to allow small groups of visitors to go into the ringing chamber to see how a bell is rung and to climb to the top of the bell tower (no unaccompanied children).
